Paraguay Tech Week

Sebastián Spena represented Galicia Ventures at Paraguay Tech Week, joining a range of activities alongside colleagues, investors, entrepreneurs, and other key players driving innovation in the local and regional landscape.

The first day focused on entrepreneurs and closed with a Reverse Pitch organized by PARCAPY, where we presented our funds, answered questions, and shared perspectives. Participants included KASZEK (Nico Berman), Magma Partners (Pedro P. del Campo), Seedstars, Draper Cygnus (Juan Manuel Porcaro), Newtopia VC (Mariano Mayer), iThink VC (Jazmín Gustale Gill & Juan Cruz Valdez Rojas), Cibersons (Gabriela Cibils Bernardes), AngelHub Ventures, among others.

Later, the Venture Mixer—organized by LAN Accelerator, Cibersons, Startups Latam, 401, Empremafia, and Lazo—offered a relaxed space to reconnect and network with colleagues and leaders from the regional tech ecosystem.

The agenda continued with a special emphasis on PARCAPY, starting with a networking breakfast that brought together its members for valuable exchange. Jazmín Gustale then shared updates from PARCAPY, followed by an engaging series of panels discussing the present and future of venture capital in the region.

We also joined a lunch hosted by Lazo, bringing together prominent figures from the ecosystem. Special thanks to Juan Manuel Barrero for the invitation!
